An author will be assigned or chosen by the student before doing this assignment.
Task #1: Search for information about your author at the 5 sites in the Resource Center. Answer all of the following questions about your author. Task #2: Prepare a visual display for presentation to the class. This will be a mini biography of your author. photograph (if available)
of your author.
Do: With graph paper, create a timeline that outlines the major events of the happenings in your author’s life.
Do: Find at least 2 poems the author has written and choose one to re-write and illustrate, to include on your display.
Do: List any other points of interest (how many books published, charitable activities of the author, etc.).
